Welcome to the New Year!
After a fabulous Christmas and a relaxing New Year's it is time to get back to the grind stone. School started today with a bang. I had 10 assignments to do over the holidays and chapters worth of reading over the weekend, then a brand new pile of homework today. Our first test is FRIDAY!
AHH! That's only 4 days away. But I really enjoyed my teachers. I also got my clinical schedule today and it seems I get to work at Ogden Regional for two months. As well as visit Bonneville Dialysis Center and McKay-Dee's GI Lab. I am so super duper excited!
Corey went back to work today after four very relaxing days off. He had two short weeks in a row so we will see how he adjusts to a full work week. Plus not to mention they are having him working 10-hr shifts too. Yuck!
I am sacrificing my weekends for the semester for the sake of school. Starting Saturday I will work 16 hrs that day and 8 hrs Sunday night. Ugh!
But I will have Monday through Friday off!
Maya has been such a treat lately... NOT! She went into heat the day after Christmas and she has PMS worse than me! (And that is saying ALOT!)
Whiny, tired, barky, sassy. All of thee above and then some. I do not know what I am going to do with her for two more weeks.
Saturday I took my soon-to-be-sister-in-law to a bridal fair in SLC. Her sister Brianna went with us and we had so much fun. After we hit a all-you-can-eat sushi place that my dad and his wife recommended. Very good!
The bridal fair had really cool things like photo booth for weddings and portable gellato and ice cream. Several cake tastings, Goodwood samples and ice cream dips later, we were not so sure about going out to lunch. YUM!
I did purchase some jewelry cleaner. It works great and puts the sparkle back into my diamonds in seconds. I even cleaned Corey's ring last night and it was amazing.
Last night Corey treated me to the movie of my choice. ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: THE SQEAKQUEL! So funny! There were only about 10 people in the theatre and they kept looking at me funny cause I was laughing outrageously. I must get that from my grandpa. :)
Well that is enough for now. I gotta start homework before Corey comes home and I get grounded. Hehe!
